Northampton – HRMI Central Campus Colombo was the recipient of the International Changemaker 2020 Award for implementing numerous Changemaker initiatives which centered on empowering youth from under-privileged communities to pursue higher education pathways, enabling them to be gainfully employed.
Whilst these initiatives have directly benefited many individuals and families, the ‘change’ has inspired the communities to perceive futures positively and differently. Changemakers are individuals or institutions who would want to make a positive change in society.
To promote Changemaker Values and initiatives at Northampton-HRMI Campuses in Colombo, 10 Scholarships are offered to enable GCE Advanced Level qualified students who believe in their commitment to make a positive social change to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree with the University of Northampton, UK.
At Northampton HRMI Campuses, students are inspired and supported to be active participants in making things happen and not be passive observers.
