First Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Degree Pathway Program

Popular Australia Education Provider – Deakin University, located in Melbourne, in partnership with Prospects Academy launched Sri Lanka’s first Bachelor of Early Childhood Education pathway program on November 1.
The pathway program will give students the opportunity to complete their first year in Sri Lanka at Prospects Academy, and their final three years at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, which can be undertaken in 2 years on fast-track basis. Prospects Academy will be offering one 50% scholarship to an exceptional student titled the ‘Prospects Achiever Scholarship’.

We are pleased to be working in partnership with Deakin University to offer this pathway program in Sri Lanka. Through the structuring of this program, we aim to assist students by offering a far more affordable education option, as well as providing them the foundation to study, work and eventually build a life for themselves (long-term) in Australia.”

Upon completion of the Bachelor’s degree, students are eligible to apply for dual teacher registration in Australia, for both Early Childhood and Primary Education teaching. Successful students are also eligible to apply for a two year post study work permit.
Australia and New Zealand are undergoing a considerable demand for Early Childhood educators and graduates of this degree are expected to rapidly find work placements in varying states within Australia, Including most leading cities with the opportunity to earn AUD 50,000-60,000 per annum.
